The Kirk Girls

  The oldest of my Daughters is Brianna AKA Bri. She is 8 years old and is in the 3rd grade. She has red hair and the temper and stubbornness to go right along with it! She loves school and her favorite thing at the moment is Monster High! Ask next week and it will be something different. Bri is my girly girl she loves to wear dresses and so badly wants to wear make up but I won't let her. Maybe in another year or 2 I will but for now she is beautiful just the way she is. We tried playing softball but she hated it. The school did a basketball game for the k-5th grade last year and she played and LOVED it! So Bri is going to be our lil basketball player:) She also signed up for Girl Scouts this year so this will be fun for her! They are doing their first fund raiser of the year! So now we are in the process of selling Chocolate candies and trail mixes:) She does good at cleaning her room when we ask her too but she doesn't keep it clean long so we are constantly asking her to clean her room but she loves to help unload the dishwasher. I love going through the tablet the kids have because she records herself like she is posting a how to video on you tube LOL!!! Now that is really funny stuff!!! I am not ready for her to grow up either:( Guess when boys come knocking at the door Daddy will be sitting in the recliner cleaning his gun!

Then there is Lorelai AKA My Mini Me! Lorelai reminds me of myself when I was younger in looks and attitude hence the name mini me! I also got her name from my favorite show Gilmore Girls. I am still mad they ended it:( Anyway  Lorelai is 6 years old and in 1st grade. Lorelai reminds me of a spitfire Pixie! She will tell you whats on her mind no matter what it is and if she has to burp or fart she will do that too ANYWHERE!!  She is just as stubborn as her sister only difference is she is a tiny lil thing and weighs next to NOTHING! She is a Momma's girl through and through!!! When she was a baby I couldn't go anywhere without her and if I was doing house work I couldn't stop to fast or she would run into my butt and fall down!! At that time I called her butt monkey cause she was always latched onto my leg or trying to climb up me by my arm! At home Lorelai bounces off the walls and you can't get her to shut up but at school she is shy, quiet and is teachers pet..... Man I wish she was like that at home! In past years you couldn't get her to wear a dress I guess you could call her a tom boy but this year she has worn a dress to school almost everyday!!  She is also known as the neighborhood streaker because the minute she walks in the door she strips down to just a tshirt and undies and runs around like that even outside! I have tried to get her to put on play clothes but she isn't having it!! Well last Thursday she was out playing barefoot and stepped on a rock and sliced the underside of her pinky toe and had to get 2 stitches. We got those out yesterday but she is still having to take it easy because it isn't fully healed yet so 1 wrong step and she will rip it back open:( Hopefully it will be healed soon!!

  These are my beautiful girls! They are different in so many ways but I love them both! I couldn't imagine my life without either of them either. I am not ready for either of them to grow up! Its hard enough having my oldest son in 5th grade! They grow up way too fast so enjoy your lil ones while you can cause they are only little for a little while!
